Asoka expand the Mauryan Empire upto Andhra and Karnataka boundaries.

Explanation:

Chandragupta Maurya’ south invasions were written in the sangam literature which was written by great Tamil poet Mamulanar. He was the emperor who had the whole India under the control of his empire. His territories extended much to Hindukush Mountains in the north and he was the first empire to defeat the first monarch of Hellenistic Seleucid Empire. Tamil poet Mamulanar explained that how states of Deccan plateau which mostly was a Tamil country was invaded by the Mauryan army by using the troops from Karnataka.  

People who resided in the Andhra and Karnataka boundary hailed Chandra Gupta Maurya to be their greatest king. It is also mentioned that Chandragupta Maurya along with other south Indian associate kings invaded the enemies in the location called podiyil hill.
