Most likely Heat Exhaustion or Heat Stress, However, Heat Stress is less likely to occur. So the Answer would be, the second one. Heat Exhaustion, remember that the body can only take so much heat before the heat causes it to need rest and rejuvenation.<span />

Why is falling more dangerous for the elderly than the young?
Alona [7]
OK so basically as we age are muscles and bones tend to become weaker and as that happens injuries may occur more often and usually we can no longer heal fully/properly because our bodies can no longer keep up with the injury.

From the excerpt, it appears that states like California ban cigarette counter displays especially so as not to appeal to young people to smoke since they, unlike adults may not be so aware of the dangers of smoking to human health ie to the risk of lung cancer so I would say this would be the main reason.

Jose has a food allergy to almonds and gets very ill if he eats any food containing almonds. While at a wedding, Jose starts to
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

The best answer to the question: Jose´s ability to detect even the slightest presence of almond is:___, would be, C: A classically conditioned response.

Explanation:

Classical conditioning, also known as Pavlovian conditioning, is a learning process which was first adopted by Ivan Pavlov. In the case of José, he had previously had a situation in which, when he ate anything that contained almonds in them, he became sick. This experience, of being exposed to a stimulus that caused him difficulties, produced in him a conditioned response, which was, his body rejecting anything that has to do with almonds, including the smell of them. So now, after having been exposed to both the stimulus and its consequence, Jose does not need to see the almonds themselves to react to them. All he needs is something as simple as his sense of smell, and his reaction to it will be to reject the food. This is an example of classical conditioned response. His response to the smell of almond extract comes from his having first been exposed to the effects of actually eating almonds.
