Well it all depends on the object you are using but in this case lets say remote control cars. You can have an example like "we drove the car around the building twice. the first time it was -8 than how fast it was supposed to go. the second time it was 9. In which round was the car faster?" I dont think i helped very much but i hope i did

In ΔTUV, the measure of ∠V=90°, UT = 65, VU = 56, and TV = 33. What ratio represents the cosine of ∠T?
monitta

<u>Answer:</u> The ratio that represents the cosine of ∠T is \frac{56}{65}

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We are given:

UV = 56 units

VT = 33 units

UT = 65 units

∠V = 90°

Cosine of an angle is equal to the ratio of base and the hypotenuse of the triangle. ΔTUV is drawn in the image below.

\cos \theta=\frac{\text{base}}{\text{hypotenuse}}

Base of the triangle is UV and the hypotenuse of the triangle is TU

Putting values in above equation, we get:

\cos \theta=\frac{UV}{TU}=\frac{56}{65}

Hence, the ratio that represents the cosine of ∠T is \frac{56}{65}

PLS HELP!!
schepotkina [342]

Option a: Quadratic expression

Explanation:

The expression is -2x^{2} +11

Option a: Quadratic expression

The quadratic expression is an expression in which the highest power or degree of a variable is 2.

Thus, from the expression -2x^{2} +11 the highest power of the variable is 2.

Hence, the expression is quadratic

Option a is the correct answer.

Option b: Linear expression

The linear expression is of the form y=mx+b

Since, the expression -2x^{2} +11 is not of the form y=mx+b, it is not a linear expression.

Hence, Option b is not the correct answer.

Option c: Cubic expression

The cubic expression is an expression in which the highest power or degree of a variable is 3.

Since, the expression -2x^{2} +11 does not have the highest power 3, it is not a cubic expression.

Hence, Option c is not the correct answer.

Option d: Exponential expression

The exponential expression indicates the number of times the base is used as a factor.

Since, the expression -2x^{2} +11 does not indicates the number of times the base is used as a factor, it is not exponential expression.

Hence, Option d is not the correct answer.
