History

All those revolutions are or were fighting an enemy with nowhere to go. Both sides have to either win or die.

The American Revolution was against the British who lived far away and at some point found the cost of fighting across an ocean too high for the expected return and decided to stay in the comfort of their home.

There is no home comfort to return to when you fight at home, so you keep fighting knowing your enemy is on the same predicament so you can't expect an easy surrender.

What action or actions gave american women the right to vote?
Kobotan [32]
Hi there!

I recently conducted research on Lucy Stone, who was a women's suffragist supporter who helped gain voting right for women.
In order to promote the idea that women should be allowed to vote, Stone formed parades and marches, created protests, wrote books, and gave speeches. Many also made daring and brave actions, such as refusing for others to do something for women just because they didn't have the right to.

Hope this helps!
