Answer:

9 plants in each row

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that she wants to put:

<em>45 sunflower seeds</em>

<em>81 corn plants</em>

<em>63 tomato plants</em>

Jill wants to put the same number of plants in each row and each row has only one type of plan.

To get this we have to find the greatest number that can be divisible by the three numbers:

45 is divisible by:

1, 3, 5, 9, ...

81 is divisible by:

1, 3, 9, ....

63 is divisible by:

1, 3, 7, 9, ....

The biggest number that all the numbers are divisible is 9.

So Jill can put 9 plants in each row

<em>If she puts 9 plants in each row she will have 5 rows of sunflower, 9 rows of corn plants and 7 rows of tomato.</em>

the gratest number should be 45 because she wants to put the same plant in the same row and the same amount of plants in each row

Find S5 for a geometric series for which a1=81 and r=1/9.
Minchanka [31]

ANSWER

S_5=91\frac{10}{81}

EXPLANATION

The sum of the first n terms of a geometric sequence is given by;

S_n=\frac{a_1(1-r^n)}{1-r} ,-1

Where n, is the number of terms and a_1 is the first term.

When n=5, we have a_1=81, we get;

S_5=\frac{81(1-(\frac{1}{9})^5)}{1-\frac{1}{9}}

S_5=\frac{81(1-\frac{1}{59049})}{1-\frac{1}{9}}

S_5=\frac{81(\frac{59048}{59049})}{\frac{8}{9}}

S_5=\frac{7381}{81}

S_5=91\frac{10}{81}

A surveyor measures a road as being 69.3km long, however there is a 1℅ error in this measurement .What is the true length of the
Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

69.993

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the percentage error formula:

Percentage error = (true - measured value / true measurement ) * 100%

1% error in measurement

1% of 69.3

0.01 * 69.3 = 0.693

True measurement = error in measurement + measured value

True measurement = 0.693 + 69.3

Actual measurement = 69.993

Hence, actual measurement = 69.993.
