Answer : The mass of nickel have, 15435.47 mg.

Solution : Given,

Moles of nickel = 2.63 moles

Molar mass of nickel = 58.69 g/mole

Formula used :

\text{Mass of Ni}=\text{Moles of Ni}\times \text{Molar mass of Ni}

\text{Mass of Ni}=(2.63mole)\times (58.69g/mole)=154.3547g=15435.47mg

(1 g = 1000 mg)

Therefore, the mass of nickel have, 15435.47 mg.

Distillation is used to separate _____.
Art [367]
Distillation is the process of separating homogeneous mixtures -and  a solution is a homogenous mixture, so this is the correct answer!

A homoogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the elements are mixed so well, that the mixture has a similar composition in all its parts. A heat can be applied to this mixture then to separate the parts - this is destination!

Describe the reason why a reaction between two substances comes to an end.
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer: The process by which a particular substance or different substances are transformed to another is called as Chemical Reaction.One reason, in the case of reversible reactions could be that the reaction reached equilibrium before the reaction was complete.Chemical reactions occur when chemical bonds between atoms are formed or broken. The substances that go into a chemical reaction are called the reactants, and the substances produced at the end of the reaction are known as the products.The concentration of reactants decreases as the reaction proceeds and at last their concentration comes to an end. Hence, the reaction stops too. If two reactants are being reacted, then the reactant which is in limited amount will consume first and will result in the termination of reaction.The usual reason is that one (or more) of the reactants gets used up.

A sample of nitrogen is initially at a pressure of 1.7 kPa, a temperature of -10 C and a volume of 7.5 m3. Then the volume is de
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

\boxed{\text{2.6 kPa}}

Explanation:

To solve this problem, we can use the Combined Gas Laws:

\dfrac{p_{1}V_{1} }{T_{1}} = \dfrac{p_{2}V_{2} }{T_{2}}

Data:

p₁ = 1.7 kPa; V₁ = 7.5 m³;  T₁ =   -10 °C

p₂ = ?;          V₂ = 3.8 m³; T₂ = 200  K

Calculations:

(a) Convert temperature to kelvins

T₁ = (-10   + 273.15) K = 263.15 K

(b) Calculate the pressure

\begin{array}{rcl}\dfrac{1.7 \times 7.5 }{263.15} & = & \dfrac{p_{2} \times 3.8}{200}\\\\0.0485 & = & 0.0190p_{2}\\p_{2} & = & \textbf{2.6 kPa}\\\end{array}\\\text{The new pressure of the gas is \boxed{\textbf{2.6 kPa}}}
