Coping involves the use of one's own conscious efforts for the problem solving in order to avoid any stress conflict or to minimise and mastering up of stress or conflict.

4 types of coping strategy for stress are as follows:

  • Appraisal focused coping
  • Problem focused coping
  • Emotion focused coping
  • Occupational focused coping

Healthy ways for the strengthening of immune system:

  • Avoid smoking
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Regular exercise
  • Take more fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Adequate sleep
  • Steps must be taken to avoid infections such as washing of hands and thoroughly cooking of meats
