Corresponding sides on either side of ED are proprotional, so

(x+2)/112 = 62/99.2

x +2 = 112*62/99.2 = 70

x = 68 feet

usually x means "a number unknown" like if i were to write 8x that means 8 times a number unowen. these are seen in equations such as 8x =48

x +2 = 112*62/99.2 = 70

x = 68 feet

What is the rational exponent?
sergejj [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A rational exponent is made up of the power on the radicand (the number under the radical) and the index (the number that sits in the little bend of the radical sign). The rational exponent uses the power as the numerator and the index as the denominator. Even though you do not see any power on the 6, it is understood to be a 1. So rewriting this radical as an exponent is

6^{\frac{1}{11}}

LiRa [457]

Answer:

The best estimate for the proportion of ticket buyers that make purchases using their smart phones is 0.45.

Step-by-step explanation:

We take the estimate from the website, and expand for all buyers, to find the proportion that use their smartphones.

400 users of the website were randomly sampled from the existing database and 180 were found to have used their smart phones.

180/400 = 0.45

The best estimate for the proportion of ticket buyers that make purchases using their smart phones is 0.45.

A bag contains 6 red tiles, 8 blue tiles, and 6 green tiles. A tile is drawn, the color recorded, and then the tile placed back
tester [92]

Answer:

9 red tiles

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of tiles: 6+8+6=20

Total number of red tiles: 6

Probability of getting red in one draw: \frac{6}{20}=0.3

This means that you would expect to get red 0.3 or 30% of the times.

Hence, when you draw tiles 30 times from the bag, you would expect red to be picked 30% of 30 times. This is:

0.3*30=9

So, you would expect to draw a red tile from the bag 9 times.
