Color in McIver beetles is determined by two alleles at one gene locus. McIver beetles must have a heterzygous genotype (genotyp
seraphim [82]

Answer: The frequency of brown beetles is 0.32.

Explanation: The frequency of A1 allele is 0.8. As p+q=1, or the sum of dominant and recessive frequencies equals 1 or 100%:

1 - 0.8 = 0.2

In Hardy-Weinberg principle,

p^{2} + 2pq + q^{2} = 1

2pq represents the frequency of heterozygote individuals, so:

genotype A1A2 = 2*0.8*0.2 = 0.32.

Thus, the frequency of brown beetles (A1A2) in the population is 0.32.

When a cell does not contain a nucleus, where is the DNA?
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

The DNA in prokaryotes is contained in a central area of the cell called the nucleoid, which is not surrounded by a nuclear membrane. Many prokaryotes also carry small, circular DNA molecules called plasmids, which are distinct from the chromosomal DNA and can provide genetic advantages in specific environments.

Please help!
Otrada [13]

I do not understand your question fully because there might be some context missing to it:

Having more nuclei is not something caused by the lack of a process or stage. Some muscle cells usually fuse together, which means they become one. But before they became one, each had their own nuclei. And when they fused, each one kept their nuclei, making one cell with more than one nuclei.

Those cells are called multinucleated cells.

Hope it helped,

Schach [20]

Answer:

The correct answer is Single Circular DNA Molecule.

Explanation:

A bacterial genome, which is the DNA that is found in bacteria collectively, is a double stranded circular DNA. So it has no start and end like double stranded helix DNA. The option D, which is "Single Circular DNA Molecule" is correct.

I hope this answer helps.
