Answer : Option B) Dissipating stage.

Explanation : The stages of thunderstorm development is downdraft significantly stronger than the updraft in the dissipating stage.

Normally, there are three stages of thunderstorm development; they are i) cumulus stage, ii) mature stage, and iii) dissipating stage.

In the dissipating stage which is after about 30 minutes, when the thunderstorm begins. It is observed to occur when the downdraft's in the cloud begins to dominate over the updraft. Since most of the warm moist air can no longer rise above, therefore cloud droplets can no longer be formed. After that the storm seems to die out with drizzling of light showers of rain as the cloud disappears from bottom to top.

The compound IF5 contains Question 16 options: polar covalent bonds with partial negative charges on the F atoms. ionic bonds. p
larisa86 [58]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

The molecule IF5 possesses five I-F polar bonds. However, the presence of polar bonds does not automatically imply that the molecule will be polar.

The geometry of the molecule is very important in determining the polarity of a compound. Since IF5 has a lone pair of electrons, the molecule is bent and as such there is a permanent dipole moment created in the molecule thereby making IF5 polar in nature.

On a container of chicken broth you notice the instructions to ""shake well before serving."" Which of the following best descri
prohojiy [21]

Answer:

The correct option is: D. A suspension

Explanation:

A suspension is a type of heterogeneous mixture in which solid particles are suspended through out the bulk of the solvent through mechanical agitation. The solid phase is also known as the internal phase and the solvent is known as external phase. In a suspension, the solid particles are generally larger than one micrometer and thus are unable to dissolve in the medium. The solid particles of a suspension are large enough to get precipitated.

<u>Therefore, in the given situation, the chicken broth is </u><u>a suspension</u><u> </u>as the contents or solid particles of the container needs to be suspended in the solvent by shaking to prevent sedimentation.

What role does the oxidizing agent play in a redox reaction?
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer is "<span>the oxidizing agent receives electrons from the reducing agent</span><span>".

There are two types of reactants in redox reactions. One is oxidizing agent and other is reducing agent.

Oxidizing agent is a substance which helps to oxidize other substance by gaining electrons. This is also called as oxidizer. Due to the gaining electrons, oxidizing agents tend to be reduced.

Reducing agent or reducer helps to reduce other substance while loosening electrons. Hence, reducing agents tend to be oxidized.</span>
