Mathematics

8 0
3/4 because think of the decimals 3/4 is 75 and 5/8 is 0.625
yuradex [85]3 years ago
3 0
No because if you line them up like this: 3.4
5.8
Then you can see that since 3 is smaller than 5, 3.4 is defiantly smaller than 5.8!

You can do this with any decimal..if one is longer than another, just add a zero to make the places equal! For ex:
4.59183 and 3.65 which is bigger?? well: 4.59183
3.65
as you can see 4.59183 is longer than 3.65 so I adjust it like this: 4.59183
3.65000
<span>Hope this Helped :))))</span>

Oliga [24]

Answer:

m<A: 62

m<B: 54

Step-by-step explanation:

180 - 116 = 64

3x - 13 + 2x + 4 + 64 = 180

5x + 55 = 180

5x = 180 - 55

5x = 125

x = 25

m<A:

3x - 13

3(25) - 13

62

m<B:

2x + 4

2(25) + 4

54

In the last 20 years, an initial population of 24 pumas in a state park grew by about 12% per year. How many pumas were in the p
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

165 pumas

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the formula given:

n = a(1 + r)^t

where n = number of pumas after a specific number of years

a = initial number of pumas = 24

r = rate = 12% = 0.12

t = number of years = 17

We obtain the number of pumas after 17 years to be:

n = 24 *(1 + 0.12)^{17}\\\\\\n = 24*(1.12)^{17}\\\\\\n = 24 * 6.866

n = 164.78 ≅ 165 pumas

After 17 years, the number of pumas in the park was 165.
