Answer : The correct answer is -

microorganisms.

Germ theory was first proposed by a French scientist, Louis Pasteur. According to this theory, microorganisms that are called as pathogens (disease causing agents) or "germs" can result into disease. In other words, growth and reproduction of microscopic organisms (microorganisms) within their respective host can lead to production of disease.

Example- Disease Cholera is caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae.

Thus, microorganisms is the right answer.

Athletes and physically active people have increased needs for
STALIN [3.7K]
They have increased need to carbohydrates, protein, water and iron.

Carbohydrates is the primary source for energy and active people apparently need more energy for their daily activities.

Protein helps build muscles, even though they only need a small amount more of protein than normal people, they still require protein for muscle buildings.

Water has to be needed as they may excrete more sweat by active activities in the day time. Water can also help remove waster material from body.

Iron helps the production of hemoglobin, which is in the red blood cells that help transport oxygen. As they exercise more, they need more oxygen supply for respiration, therefore there is a need for iron supply.

An animal cell with a solute potential of -1.2 bars is placed into an open beaker containing a solution with a solute potential
skad [1K]

Answer:

Water will move out of the cell because the beaker solution has a lower water potential than the cell is the answer.

Thus Option C is correct.

Explanation:

The way how a water moves from one point that is out of the cell to the another point that is into the cell is called as water potential. It depends on two factors, that is, the solute potential and pressure potential. The solute potential has an inverse relationship with the water potential.

If the solute potential is higher than water potential will be less and vice versa. So in this above mentioned experiment the solute potential of the cell is less than that of the solution so water will move out of the beaker as per the rule.
