The Southwest Asia, also known as Middle East, is divided among 15 countries. The countries outside of the Mesopotamia region and the Persian Golf are the poorest in oil, being Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey and Cyprus, while the Gulf and KSA have the majority of the oil deposits.
