This isn’t a math question and I’m not an art expert but I think it’s pretty self explanatory.
Today’s mixture will be darker compared to yesterday’s mixture because she used the same amount of white paint for both mixtures but changed the amount of red paint which will make it more focused.

Drag the point around to graph more horizontal lines. What is the general equation of a horizontalline?
svetlana [45]

A horizontal line is one for which the value of y is the same for the entire length of the line. Therefore this type of line can be expressed as below:

y=c

Where "c" is a constant that changes the position of the line on the coordinate plane. If c is equal to 2, then we have a constant line that crosses the y-axis at the position 2 for example.

For a particular event, 771 tickets were sold for a total of $3037. If students paid $3 per ticket and non-students paid $5
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Answer:

Number of student tickets were sold = 409

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of tickets sold = 771

I.e Students ticket (S) + Non students ticket(N S)  = 771

Total amount to be paid for tickets = $ 3037

Amount paid by students per tickets = $3

Amount paid by non-students per tickets = $5

So, according to question

S + NS = 771

3 S + 5 NS = 3037

Solve both equations

5 S + 5 NS = 771 × 5

3 S + 5 NS = 3037

so ,

(5 S + 5 NS) - (3 S + 5 NS ) = 3855 - 3037

Or, 2 S = 818

I.e S = \frac{818}{2} = 409

Hence, The number of student tickets were sold = 409      Answer

What property is occurring in the following example? 11.5 + (- 11.5) = 0
kramer

Answer: A property occurring in the example 11.5 + (-11.5) = 0, is additive inverse.

Step-by-step explanation:

A property where sum of any number and its inverse is equal to zero is called additive inverse property.

For example, 11.5 + (-11.5) = 0

Here, 11.5 is the number and its inverse is (-11.5). The sum of both these is equal to zero. Hence, it shows a property of additive inverse.

Thus, we can conclude that property occurring in the example 11.5 + (-11.5) = 0, is additive inverse.
