Answer:

To bisect an angle or a line implies dividing the angle or line into two equal parts.

Similarities:

i. Use any convenient radius to describe two intersecting arcs

ii. Use the two ends of the line or arc of the angle to describe intersecting arcs.

iii. Draw a straight line i.e the bisector through the intersecting arcs through the line or angle.

Differences:

i. To bisect a line, two set of intersecting arcs are constructed above and below the line. But for an angle, a single set of intersecting arcs are constructed just once before the angle.

ii. The bisector passes through the point of intersection of the arcs above the line to the point of intersection of the arcs below the line. For an angle, the bisector passes through the point of intersection of the arcs through the angle to the vertex that forms the angle.

How are integers and rational numbers the same ?
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

Every integer is a rational number, since each integer n can be written in the form n/1. For example 5 = 5/1 and thus 5 is a rational number. However, numbers like 1/2, 45454737/2424242, and -3/7 are also rational, since they are fractions whose numerator and denominator are integers.
