4 0

Answer:

  • -704

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Given the sequence</u>

  • A = -4 - 6i

<u>To find </u>

  • Sum of terms from i=5 to i=15
<h3>Solution</h3>

We see the sequence is AP

<u>The required sum is</u>

  • S₅₋₁₅ = S₁₅ - S₄

<u>Using sum of AP formula</u>

  • Sₙ = 1/2n(i₁ + iₙ)

<u>Finding the required terms</u>

  • i₁ = - 4- 6 = -10
  • i₄ = -4 -6*4 = - 28
  • i₁₅ = -4 -6*15 = -94

<u>Getting the sum</u>

  • S₄ = 1/2*4*(-10 - 28) = -76
  • S₁₅ = 1/2*15*(-10 - 94) = -780
  • S₅₋₁₅ = S₁₅ - S₄ = -780 - (-76) = - 704

I NEED TO HAND IN NOW!!!
umka21 [38]

Step-by-step explanation:

a)

total no. of pupils is not more than 24

therefore first equation is

(x+y) ≤ 24. ....(1)

No. of girls exceeding the no. of boys by atleast 4

(y-x) ≥ 4. .....(2)

b) Now Liza chooses 8 boys

Maximum no. of girls = ?

Using first inequality

y+8= 24 ( maximum value of less than or equal to function is equal to itself)

Therefore,

y= 24-8

=16

Minimum no. of girls = ?

Using second inequality

y-8 =4 (minimum value of greater than or equal to function is equal to itself)

Therefore,

y= 4+8

y=12

Answer:

a) 2linear inequalities

(x+y) ≤ 24

(y-x) ≥ 4

b) Max no. of girls = 16

Min no. of girls = 12

Hope it helps...

The formula for the volume of a sphere is a power function:
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

r≥0

V(r) ≥0

Step-by-step explanation:

V(r) = 4/3 * Pi* r^3

The domain is the input values for r

The radius cannot be less than 0  but can be any number bigger than 0

What is the domain of the function in this situation?

r≥0

The range is the output values for the function or the volume

The volume must be greater than or equal to zero

V(r) ≥0

PLEASE HELP! [99 POINTS] !! SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY !!!
umka21 [38]
Hello!

We can find out our answer by plugging in the point (1,1) to see which equation works.

y=1.4(1.2)≠1
y=1.2≠1
y=0.5+0.3≠1
y=0.2+1.2≠1

As you can see, none of these answers are correct. You could make the last equation true by switching 0.2 to -0.2. It may have been a typo, so I would say the best answer is D.

I hope this helps!
