Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was a scholar of great wisdom. He recognized the shortcomings of both English society and Muslim society in India, moreover, he knew how these shortcomings created disagreements and gaps between the two populations and that this was very damaging to his people.

Based on that, he advised he advised the British on ways to please the Indian population, allowing that population to have a voice and to help with the administration of the country. This was one of the greatest achievements of his life, because it brought these two populations together, for a certain period of time.
