Taoists adhere to these as basis for their doctrine of wisdom.

Taoism practices “Tao Te Ching”. This doctrine covers practical advice about wisdom.

Basically, Taoists have a high level of wisdom when compared to other faith. Although, Taoism doesn’t show itself to be a religion but present itself as a way of life that is free from problems in the world full of confusion. Merely looking at Taoism doctrine, one can point to the fact that its point is to prevent any form of conflict.

Taoism teachings are virtually based on simplicity, a virtue that is not different to what the doctrine preaches.  Simplicity today in the modern would mean to jettison the idea of leaving materialistic lifestyle and focus mainly on financial stability.

Taoism also preaches naturalness, which is simply being yourself and not be under the influence of anyone.  It emphasizes on the need for it followers to have spontaneity, which prevent it followers from thinking about things that can complicate their life. It suggests to its followers to always act towards what is in front of them instead of looking too far ahead.

However, the doctrines of Taoism also promote wisdom through the following results:

  • It create a better society for us all
  • It gives comfort to individual
  • It promotes and enriches the lives of individual willing to follow it
  • It encourages peace due to its passive nature.

An infant loses interest in a toy train every time the train disappears into a long tunnel. This child has not yet developed ___
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

The correct answer is:

Sensorimotor stage.

Explanation:

According to the theory of cognitive development proposed by the psychologist Jean Piaget, the human being  goes through certain stages during evolution and growth from birth. He explains that during the Sensorimotor stage that goes approximately from birth to the age of 2, children develop a familiarity with their surroundings through the motor processes, that is to say the ones that are related to the movement, around them using their senses for such perception of the environment.

Therefore in this case, the child would be in the early sensorimotor stage when he has not yet developed completely his abilities to understand the movement of the train and simply loses interest.

gogolik [260]
Meriwether Lewis and William Clark helped open the American frontier to settlement by exploring the regions further out west. They mapped these territories and found accessible routes, so that Americans could move further out west and settle the land before the Europeans could claim it. There was also a smaller objective of studying the science and possible economic qualities.

Believing that others are right is to ________ as conforming without believing is to ________. public compliance; private accept
bija089 [108]

Believing that others are right is to private acceptance and as conforming without believing is to public compliance. Public compliance involves a change in behavior including the public expression of opinions that is not accompanied by an actual change in one’s private opinion. Thus, compliance represents what people do or say in public, even though they believe something different in private. A driver might follow the speed limit or wear a tie which is a behavior to conform to social norms even though we may not necessarily believe that it is appropriate to do so which is opinion. However, behaviors that are formerly executed out of a desire to be accepted which is normative conformity may frequently produce changes in beliefs to match them and the result becomes private acceptance which is for instance a child who begins smoking to please his friends but soon convinces himself that it is the right thing to do or a prisoner of war who eventually accepts the political beliefs of his captor.
