People living in harsh conditions, such as Alaska, need to adapt to their climate. They may go outside everyday for a certain amount of time and increase the time as the days, weeks, or months go on. It definitely takes a while for them to adapt to it but it definitely can happen.

In your opinion, how have these changes affected American society? Consider the family structure, economic health, and the stren
KIM [24]

Changes in American society modified the social, economic and political and family structure of the nation.

The effects of the industrial revolution in the Northern states made possible great advances in trade and travel, allowing more people to move from one place to another in less time, and the generation of job opportunities for many people that before that time, were only limited to his own area or farming jobs.

Industrialization modified the role of woman in the family. Previously, women limited its participation only as a mother. But after World War I, they started to occupy positions in new professions and they expressed themselves through fashion and style.

Minorities and the access to labor in factories and industry in general was a notorious advancement in the consolidation of the U.S. as a modern society. Although the many racial problems the nation is still facing, Black people and Hispanic people have made a great contribution to the American economy.

Free trade and NAFTA has allowed the three countries -Mexico, Canada, and the U.S.- to have a true strength in commerce that shows the world that North America is a leading force in world trade. This caused the admiration of other countries in different continents, and one way or the other, some have tried to emulate the formula.

Immigration has marked the history of the U.S. Not only from Latin America, but the United States was formed by immigrants: English, Italians, Mexicans, Japanese and many more that are an active part of the economy and culture of the country.

jok3333 [9.3K]

There are in all 23 vital mementoes left behind by the 12 expeditors who visited the Moon as a part of the Apollo project. These include the 3 Lunar Roving Vehicles used to taxi around the surface of the Moon that were used during the mission Apollo-15, 16 and 17.  Not only these expensive vehicles were abandoned there but all the 6 lunar modules which were used for the purpose of landing on the Moon are also left there. The other things, scattered across on the Moon, include the bags used to carry the life support systems, Neil Armstrong's as well as other astronauts' shoes, a device to measure the earthquake-like tremors on the Moon, a laser reflector which is used to measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon, the golf stick along and a golf ball that was struck by Alan Shepard, the national flag of the USA, the urine collection bags of the astronauts, tools used to break the rocks, etc. Personal belongings like the astronauts' family photographs are also included in the list. Every spot of human landing on the Moon includes some or the other thing to mark his visit on that spot.

Other mementos also include the first footprint of Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the Moon as well.
