Answer:

it accounts for significant changes in physical and genetic changes as species adapt over a large period of time in ever changing conditions

Explanation:

First developed by C. Darwin, the natural selection is the process by which he observed different kinds of  changes in traits of pidgeons and other species in the Galapagos islands. He inferred that these changes would occur as ambient constantly poses threats for life: the pidgeons need to assure they can have enough food for their offspring and the availabilty of prey is usually changes as different seasons provide. Some general conditions he established are necessary for natural selection to occur are: As more organisms are born than those who can survive. Organisms will always vary in their characteristics usually small changes within  species. The differences in reproduction and survival are due to variation between organisms.

Those the nature, what natural selection turns then  “the survival of the fittest” for short.

According to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, organisms that possess heritable traits that enable them to better adapt to their environment compared with other members of their species will be more likely to survive, reproduce, and pass more of their genes on to the next generation.

Explain why recycling cans, bottles, and paper is a way to promote sustainability.
fomenos
Recycling that reduces toxic wastes and environmental pollution obviously provides immediate benefits to human health. By reducing wastes, recycling also conserves natural resources, protects natural ecosystems, and encourages biological diversity, all of which enhance the long run sustainability of the biosphere.
