Answer:

Unfortunately most leaders with absolute power are not fair. More often than not many leaders egregiously abuse their power by mistreating their people.

To name a few; Fidel Castro, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.

I hope this helps!

What would result if everyone became self-sufficient?
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

D. there would be no need for markets to purchase goods and services

Explanation:

Self sufficiency which the act whereby an individual can be able to meet his or her needs without recourse the seeking help whatsoever from another person. This is an etopiain scenario projected which is hardly reliasiable as a result of everyone needing help at one point or the other over the course of his or her living on earth.

For example, someone that is good in electrical repairs would need the help of someon who is good in farming for his or her daily feeding inorder to stay living and vice versa. This he could achieve through the act of buying and selling either by trade by barter or using money.

If everyone become self sufficient, that simply means that there would be no need for buying and selling of goods and services.

Explain how the united states government differed from foreign governments at the time of alexis de tocqueville's visit
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Alexis de Tocqueville was a French diplomat and political philosopher, best known for his work Democracy in America. The work was written after Tocqueville’s travels in America, and it presents a valuable study on the conditions of American society in the early 19th century. Some of the characteristics that Tocqueville found in American government that made it different from other foreign governments were:

 • A Puritan founding of the government. This contributed to several characteristics, such as valuing equality, a union of political liberty and religion and the appreciation of sovereignty.
 • The abolition of primogeniture (the practice of the firstborn son to inherit a father’s state, as opposed to daughters, illegitimate children, younger sons, etc.). This meant that equality was more predominant, women had better opportunities to acquire money and a family’s wealth changed hands more often.
 • The collapse of the aristocracy, and the dominance of the commons in political life.
 • The extent of democracy, which could lead to a “tyranny of the majority” (the majority becoming despotic and oppressing minorities).
 • A blinding belief in the equality of men, which Tocqueville believed could become dangerous.

what does the declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citize say about whom or what has power in a nation
azamat

The Declaration of the Rights of the Man and the Citizen was issued in 1789 by the French National Constituent Assembly. It is a document, which arose from the French Revolution, and contains the human civil rights which are stated to be universal, applicable everywhere and everytime.

The declaration includes the philoshophycal and political ideas of the Enlightment. The following two are the most important ones:

 • The social contract concept of Rousseau which states that citizens hold the power of a nation and grant it to representatives and goverments through suffrage. It was a vision that clearly opposed the existent absolut monarchies and ancient regime systems that were operating at the moment.
 • The division of powers by Montesquieu, which stated that the power of a nation should be divided in three independent branches: legislative, executive and judiciary, implemented together with a balance system that ensures that none of them gathers enough power to overrule the other branches.
