Renewable resources are an energy source that can be reused over and over again, for instance: Solar energy, wind, geothermal, and hydro power. Solar energy takes energy from the sun, a drawback is that if its cloudy then its no good. A drawback of wind energy is that wind turbines take up a lot of space and could pose a threat to birds. Geothermal is good because we get it from the earth, however, electricity is still needed to power the machines. hydro power is good because its clean however, it interferes with natures water (dams) and drought can make the source useless.
no-renewable energy is coal, oil, natural gas. These are good because they are cheap however are in limited supply and are extremely problematic for the environment.
We can reduce our energy usage by by buying appliances that are eco-friendly, unplugging our electronics when were not using them (like a tv), use fuel efficient vehicles or take a bicycle as transportation, car pull, install solar panels on your house roofs, make sure your doors and windows are closed that way you don't waste the air condition, buy a washing machine that uses less water and is energy efficient.
