1. No the Earth does not benefit from the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect causes the Earth to get warmer. With the Earth's heat increasing the ice glaciers are melting causing our oceans to rise.

2. Living plants uses some of carbon dioxide through the process of photosynthesis. Burning them only causes the carbon dioxide level to rise.

3.Recycling helps reduce greenhouse emission from landfills.
