Well to solve for n you have to isolate n. so -8.7 from both sides which you then have n=7.5.

Can you guys help for 25 pts I need this done ASAP!!! <br> PlzZzZzZz help thank you
Vladimir79 [104]
I'm not 100% sure on the first one but on the second I can help you out. How would you characterise the relationship? All it is, is that the more hours were spent studying, the higher the score will be.
Paul's function. Since the x values are hours of study all you must do is sub 3 for x in the equation giving you   y = 8(3) + 40 = 24 + 40 = 64
What does the 40 mean? This in a straight line is the y-int so all its saying is that no matter how much study Paul does, he will at least get 40 marks.

Hope this helped :)

PLEASE HELP!!! Shasha and Alan are both running on the track Shasha begins at the starting line and is running 5 feet per second
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

All you have to do is multiply 5 and 3 by specific gaps in between new numbers then subtract 30. Keep doing that until you get evenly matched numbers.

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is 15, it would take 15 seconds for Alan to reach Sasha.

Sam is paid $50 per room that he paint and he paint room in exactly two hours on sunday sam hopes to make at least $150 painting
Gnesinka [82]

Since Sam can paint 5 rooms in 10 hours, since:

\frac{10\text{hours}}{2\text{hours}}=5\text{ rooms}

then Sam would have to paint at least 3 rooms to make $150.

The range of hours would be from 6 to 10 hours, since 3 rooms takes 6 hours to paint.
