The best thing to do is to rewrite the fractions as decimals
-2/3 is approx. equal to -0.6666667
So a little past half way (to the left) between -1 and 0
1 1/5 is 1.5 so that is right between 1 and 2

Basically always use a^2 + b^2 = c^2 it gives you your A and C so subtract your A from you C and you have your B
6x^2 = 54
6(x^2) = 54
6(x^2)/6 = 54/6
x^2 = 9
rt(x^2) = rt(9)
x = 3
