Advertisements on School Campuses As a strategy to obtain additional funding, some school districts have created partnerships wi

th corporations. In exchange for money or equipment (such as sports gear or technology), the sponsor is allowed to place advertisements on the school's campus. Those in favor of corporate partnerships emphasize that these collaborations can make up for schools’ lack of funding. Those against these partnerships argue that students should be protected from being targeted by advertisements while at school. What do you think? In a letter to be sent to a school board, argue whether or not corporations should be permitted to advertise on school campuses in exchange for funding or equipment. Include evidence to support your argument.

According to National PTA 52% of the USA citizens agree with having advertisements at school since roughly 88% of the population do not pay attention to the advertisements showcasted around them, therefore they believe that using the school ground as a platform for advertisements is actually a smart move as these companies provide funds that schools desesperately need.

On the bright side, there are many advertisements that are actually helpful for students such as PSAs or adds about healthy food.

Hope this helps!!

D. Hook. It is relevant to trying to 'hook' or reel in your reader for a great catch. ;)
An example:
The creak grew louder. I whipped around and out of the corner of my eye, a shadow danced. I twisted back. I heard padding feet behind me. Desperate, I turned in circles as laughing began..... would that be captivating? Or what about:
Yesterday was ok. We went to get ice cream. I got stawberry. But it fell on the ground. Wouldn't you want to immediatly put THAT book down?
