<u>Anwser-.</u>

<em>Lydia must sale 26 shoes in next 6 hours in order to meet her average sales rate.</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

Lydia works at a shoe store where she averages 10 sales every 2.5 hours.

But, unfortunately she only sold 6 shoes in the first 2 hours.

But, she should have sold, \frac{10}{2.5}\times 2=8 shoes in 2 hours

The amount of shoes she is behind her average = 8-6 = 2 shoes

The amount of shoes she usually sells in 6 hours is  \frac{10}{2.5}\times 6=24

In order to cover up the amount in 6 hours she must sell the amount of shoes she usually sell in 6 hours + the amount of shoes she is already behind her average = 24 +2 = 26 shoes

Answer:

In every 2.5 hours number of sales made by Lydia=10 sales

2.5 hours = 10 sales

Dividing both side by 2.5

In 1 hour = 4 sales

On a particular day

In 2 hours , number of sales made=6 sales

As we have to find number of sales in next 6 hours.

Total number of hours =2+6=8 hours

So, number of sales should be=8×4=32

But in 2 hours , she made 6 sales.

In order to meet his average sale , she should sell →32- 6=26 sales in next 6  hours.

Answer:

8.48%

Step-by-step explanation:

Bill's weight decreases from 64.8 kg to 59.3 kg.

We need to find the percentage decrease in Bill's weight. It can be calculated as follows :

\%=\dfrac{64.8 -59.3 }{64.8 }\times 100\\\\=8.48\%

So, the required decrease in percentage is 8.48%.

Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

54+\frac{5}{9}\times 54

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Loretta grew  watermelons in her garden last year=54

We have to find the expression which shows the number of watermelons Loretta grew this year.

To find the expression which shows the  number of watermelons Loretta grew this year by adding watermelons grew in her garden last year and number of watermelons increased .

According to question

5/9 of 54=\frac{5}{9}\times 54

Therefore, the expression which shows the  number of watermelons Loretta grew this year

=54+\frac{5}{9}\times 54
