Easy! and no it is not the first one.

The obvious answer here the one in the bottom right corner and heres why:

outlier: a number situated away or detached from the main body or system

This means, that if a number is way higher or way lower than the rest of the number it is most likely a outlier.

That is not always true, but it helps to eliminate the obvious incorrect answers, like B and C.

The other person said A is correct... nope. 13 in A is actually not a outlier according to the math. It would take alot of writing to show you how to solve for outliers, but if you really want to know how here is a page you can visit:

https://www.wikihow.com/Calculate-Outliers

I did not get my answer from there, but it should be able to help with your other questions.

Now, if you like this answer and would like to see more, please make sure to Like, Comment, and! ... Rate. this answer. Also, be sure to send me a Friend request. I'm always up for a challenge!

Thanks!

ps. could you please make sure to make me Brainlyest? I kinda need it to maintain and reach the next rank. You also get a few points back I think... thx

A random number from 1 to 5 is selected
shutvik [7]

Answer:

Relative frequency of selecting a 2 = 8/50 = 0.16

Relative frequency of selecting a 3 = 14/50 = 0.28

Step-by-step explanation:

When we have a given experiment with given outcomes (such that each time that we perform the experiment, one outcome happens) the relative frequency of a given outcome is the quotient between the number of times that that outcome happened, and the total number of times that the experiment was performed.

Here the experiment is selecting a random number between 1 and 5, and it is performed 50 times.

Out of these 50 times, the outcome "2" appears 8 times.

Then the relative frequency of selecting the number 2 is:

f(2) = 8/50 = 0.16

And of these 50 experiments, the outcome "3" appears 14 times.

Then the relative frequency of selecting the number 3 is:

f(3) = 14/50 = 0.28
