Answer: The word "ensures" implies that it is certain.

In the case of the study, they simply found that the average salary is greater for college graduates. This doesn't mean that in every case the college graduate makes more money.

The problem is the word "ensures". Our study doesn't show certainty only a general pattern.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a study shows that, over the course of a lifetime, the average salary of college graduates is greater than the average salary of people with only a high school diploma.

The results were published claiming that graduating from college ensures you will make more money over the course of your lifetime.

Only means should not be compared. variances of each sample should be ascertained and test for comparison of two means to be done to conclude that one mean is greater than the other.

Hence here problem is correlation and causality.

a daily newspaper has 10225 subscribers when it began publication. six years old later it has 8200 subscribers what is the avera
seraphim [82]

Answer:

The rate of change in number of subscriber for the six years is 3.62%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The initial subscriber of newspaper = p = 10225

The subscriber of newspaper after 6 years of publish = P = 8200

The time period = t = 6 years

Let The average yearly rate of change = r%

<u>Now, According to question</u>

The subscriber of newspaper after n years = initial subscriber × (1-\dfrac{\textrm rate}{100})^{\textrm time}

Or, P = p × (1-\dfrac{\textrm r}{100})^{\textrm t}

Or, 8200 = 10225 × (1-\dfrac{\textrm r}{100})^{\textrm 6}

Or, \dfrac{8200}{10225} =  (1-\dfrac{\textrm r}{100})^{\textrm 6}

Or, 0.80195 =  (1-\dfrac{\textrm r}{100})^{\textrm 6}

<u>Taking power \dfrac{1}{6} both side</u>

So, (0.80195 )^{\frac{1}{6}} = ((1 - \frac{r}{100} )^{6})^{\frac{1}{6}}

Or, 0.9638 = 1 - \dfrac{r}{100}

Or,  \dfrac{r}{100} = 1 - 0.9638

Or,  \dfrac{r}{100} = 0.0362

Or, r = 0.0362 × 100

i.e r = 3.62

So, The rate of change in subscriber = 3.62%

Hence, The rate of change in number of subscriber for the six years is 3.62% . Answer

Consider the growth of a population p(t). It starts out with p(0)=A. Suppose the growth is unchecked, and hence p′=kp for some c
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

p(t) = Ae^{\frac{kt^2}{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following information in the question:

The growth of population is given by the function p(t).

p(0)=A where A is a constant.

p' = kp

where k is a constant.

Solving the given differential equation, we have,

p' = kp\\\\\displaystyle\frac{dp}{dt} = kp\\\\\frac{dp}{p} = kt~ dt\\\\\text{Integrating both sides}\\\\\int \frac{dp}{p} = \int kt~ dt\\\\\log p = \frac{kt^2}{2} + C\\\\\text{where C is the integration constant}\\\\\text{Putting t = 0}\\\\\log p_0 = C\\\\\log p = \frac{kt^2}{2} + \log p_0\\\\\log p - \log A = \frac{kt^2}{2}\\\\\log \frac{p}{A} = \frac{kt^2}{2}\\\\p(t) = Ae^{\frac{kt^2}{2}}
