Ratio of the number of guitars play jazz solos to the total number of guitars in the contest is 1 to 4. How many guitars play classic solos in the contest? Explain your reasoning

Ratio= 1:4
Let the no. Of musicians playing jazz solos be x. And the no. of of the total guitarist be 4x.
So 4x = 56
x=56/4
= 14
So no. Of musicians playing jazz solos =x
=14
So no. of musicians playing classic solos = 56-14
=42
