Alcohol poisoning is a likely result of binge drinking alcohol (C).

Further explanation

Binge drink is when someone consumes a large amount of alcohol in a short period, it can lead to alcohol poisoning. The liver processes one ounce of pure alcohol in sixty minutes. The more you drink the longer the alcohol stays in your body.

When you drink a large amount of alcohol in a short period, your blood alcohol level rise, usually 0.08 grams per cent or above it is considered poisonous. Alcohol poisoning, also known as alcohol overdose, can be a life-threatening condition. It required immediate medical treatment.

Symptoms of alcohol poisoning:

 1. Slow or irregular breathing
 2. Poor coordination
 3. Low body temperature (hypothermia)
 4. Vomiting and choking
 5. Unconsciousness and confusion
 6. Pale skin, sometimes it may take on a bluish tinge

In very serious cases, alcohol poisoning can lead to heart attack, risk of brain damage and the person can go into a coma. Preventing alcohol poisoning can be done by drinking a moderate amount of alcohol, avoiding binge drinking, instead of alcohol beverages, choose non-alcoholic, and eat before or while drinking alcohol may slow its absorption into your body.
