Hope this helps but I think the mean is the average of the numbers so to find the mean you add 9,8,12,6,and 10 together and then divide by 5 because that is the total numbers you have.So that means the mean is 9. The median is the middle number of the whole set to do that first put all the numbers in order.
6,8,9,10,12 , then find the middle number.In this the middle number is 9 because either side of 9 ha the same amount of numbers (2).There are 2 numbers on the left side of 9 and there are 2 numbers on the right side of 9.
