Adenosine triphosphate (also called ATP) is used by the cell as fuel to
pump sodium out of the cell during the process of active transport. It
carries energy to the areas of the body where it is needed. It is
necessary for many of the cell's functions and is an important part of
metabolism.
Answer:
Active Transport
Explanation:
Active transport is what is used to help material move through a cell. In this picture it shows the material going through a part in the mitochondria which is like a door that opens to only certain things.
Answer:
1. The force applied to the ball by the pitcher will impact your ability to hit a home run because according to Newton's laws, the force that the ball hits the bat with will have an equal and opposite reaction, meaning the ball would be bounced off with the same amount of force as the pitcher applied to the ball.
2. It would be easier to hit a home run with a lighter ball because the lighter ball would not need as much force applied to it as a heavier ball would, and according to Newton's second law, F=ma, if the mass is less then it would affect the force in a negative way.
