High-altitude clouds composed of ice crystals are called cirriform clouds or the cirrus clouds. This is a type of cloud which is characterized by wispy, thin strands. This is the most common cloud formed at high-altitude. They have heights of greater than 6000 meters. These are made up of ice crystals which originated from supercooled water molecules. This type of cloud would foresee a fair weather or a pleasant weather.

You have two balls of equal size and smoothness, and you can ignore air resistance. One is heavy, the other is much lighter. You
motikmotik

Answer:

They will hit the ground at the same time.

Explanation:

By ignoring the opposing forces i.e. air resistant, both the heavy and light balls will fall with same acceleration due to gravity (g=9.8 m/s²) and g is independent of mass of the objects. Thus both will hit the ground at the same time.

A particle has 37.5 J of kinetic energy and 12.5 J of gravitational potential energy at one point during its fall from a tree to
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer: 50J

Explanation:

Mechanical energy follows the same principles of kinetic energy and potential energy, it is conserved. So Ei = Ef.

Mechanical energy is the sum of ALL energy's. There is no friction, so its just kinetic plus potential.

37.5 + 12.5 = 50J

Since the particle has not touched the ground, it has not transferred any energy to the ground yet, therefore the mechanical energy must still be 50J; mostly in kinetic energy with a very small amount of potential because of the low height relative to the ground.

If a cross country runner covers a distance of 347 meters in 134 seconds what is her average speed?
a_sh-v [17]
347÷134=2.589552239 meters per second

2.589552239×60= 155.3731343 meters per hour

155.3731343 meters per hour= 0.096544389701642 miles per hour

#3: a container has the dimensions of 30 cm x 50 mm x 0.2 m. the density of its contents is 2.5 g/cm3. what is the mass of the s
WARRIOR [948]
Good afternoon!

We calculate the volume of the container in cm³. To do that, we must put the units in cm:

30 cm → 30 cm
50 mm → 5 cm
0.2 m → 20 cm

The volume is:

V = 30 . 5 . 20

V = 3000 cm³

Now, we calculate the mas with the formula:

m = dV

m = 2.5 · 3000

m = 7500 g

Dividing by 1000, we have the mass in kg:

m = 7.5 kg
