x^2+2x=35
x^2+2x+1=35+1
(x+1)^2=36
(x+1)^2=6^2
x+1=6\lor x+1=-6
x=6-1\lor x=-6-1
\boxed{x=5\lor x=-7}

Write an equation for a circle with
a center at (9 -2) and has a
radius of 7.
fenix001 [56]
The equation of a circle is given as:

(x-a)^2 + (y- b)^2 = r^2  where (a, b) is the center.

(x-9)^2  = x^2 -18x + 81 - ----(i)
(y+2)^2 =y^2 + 4y +4      ------ (ii)
r^2 = 49                          ------ (iii)

Adding equation (i) and (iii)
x^2 + y^2 - 18x + 4y + 85 -----(iv)

Equating equation (iv) and (iii)

x^2 + y^2 - 18x + 4y + 85 = 49

Arrange the equation:

x^2 + y^2 - 18x + 4y + 36 = 0

I hope this helps

Nth term of the sequences....?
(a) 1, 4, 9, 16, 25
(b) 3, 6, 11, 18, 27
denis-greek [22]
A. 36 as the numbers are adding by the next odd integer. An example is: 1–>4 is +3, 4–>9 is +5, 9–>16 is +7, and so on. This rule applies to both of our sequences.
b. 38.
Hope this helps :) brainly if possible so others can see.
