You would need two plants at the least, one that you kept out side of sunlight and one in sunlight. I don't know how you would figure out how much Carbon Dioxide is used but the plant in the sunlight i believe would be the control.

Which of the following statements about tornadoes is false? Most tornadoes form during the afternoon. Most tornadoes have funnel
Naily [24]

Answer:

Option B, Most tornadoes have funnels taller than 105 m

Explanation:

As per the UCAR center for science, formation of tornadoes is not a season specific event. It can form at any point of time in a year but the majority of tornadoes have occurred in spring and summer months. These tornadoes are also accompanied by thunderstorms in the month of may and june.

As per the national geographic channel estimate , the maximum speed of wind of a tornado noted till date is 110 kilometer per hour. Thus, saying that speed of most of the tornado is greater than 105 kph is acceptable to some extent.

Also , tornado occurs usually during the hottest part of the day when the air next to ground gets heated.

Hence, option B is incorrect

Urey and miller cooked a "primordial soup" with Hadean gases, water snd electricity to make _____,_____,_____ and_____
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

Urey and miller cooked a "primordial soup" with Hadean gases, water and electricity to make glucose, acetic acid, amino acids and lipids.

Explanation:

In the Miller-Urey experiment, the aim was to reproduce the conditions of the earth before the existence of life, with the objective of demonstrating the formation of organic matter from inorganic molecules.

The scientists took water and gases present in the Hadean eon —previous to the existence of life— such as methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, nitrogen and even ammonia, the primordial soup. This mixture was subjected to electrical discharges, inside closed containers.

The results were some organic molecules, including glucose, acetic acid, amino acids and fatty acids. In these results the presence of macromolecules, such as proteins or nucleic acids, is not appreciated, however it was a significant contribution to the knowledge of the origin of life on earth.
