Was the Hungary date of independence(under soviet control) on 1989 or 1956?
mixer [17]

Answer:

1989

Explanation:

Hungary got its independence from the Soviet Union in 1989. A revolution began to spread n the late 1980s in Eastern Europe which resulted at the end of communist rule in Eastern Europe and beyond.

Communism in Hungary established in 1956 with the support of the Soviet military. During 1989 and 1990, Eastern Europeans showed their distaste for Communist leadership and demanded democratic reforms. Faced with changes, Communist leaders resigned or agreed to reforms which led to the opening of a new era in Eastern Europe.
