  • Before this, the shaking of the earthquake was related to the epicenter. The earthquakes are classified on the Richter scale range from  1 to 10 or greater the first 1-2 being negligible felt by none as small tremors start to rise from 3 onwards.
  • From 4-5 it's light from 5-6 its moderate and from 6-8 it's major and from 8 onwards it severest or greater that causes damage to buildings and well-designed structures. Major and heavy damages occur once per year.
