Answer:$18.70

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Parmesan cheese was on sale for  $13.60 per pound

Welsey bought a piece of the parmesan cheese that weighted \frac{11}{8} pounds

we need to spend$13.60 for 1 pound

for \frac{11}{8} pound

\frac{11}{8}\times 13.60=$18.72

So Wesley need to spend $18.70 to get the Parmesan cheese.

He payed $15.30 is you divide 13.60 by 8 you get 1.70then you just add 13.60+1.70 because he also bought a pound

HELP ASAP!!! EASY POINTS!!!!
notka56 [123]

Answer:

y-2=3(x+1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope formula is y -y_{1} =m(x -x_{1}) where we substitute a point (x,y) for (x_{1},y_{1}).

We have m=3 and (-1, 2). We input m and x_{1} =-1\\y_{1}=2.

y-2=3(x-(-1))\\y-2=3(x+1)

What is x-3&lt; 1 in interval notation
Serga [27]
(-∞,4). All I did was isolated x, and it says that x has to be less than 4. That means anything before 4 is fair game. Since the problem said that it can't be equal to 4 (as it would have had to have a line under the less than symbol), I used parenthesis on the 4 side as opposed to hard brackets. The <span>∞ always requires parenthesis. </span>

Mary throws a plastic disc to her friend, which her friend catches six seconds after Mary throws it. The table shows the height
natta225 [31]
Unfortunately, there is no given table. However, assuming no air resistance, the projectile moves in constant acceleration in the y-axis, while constant velocity in the x-axis. If the total time of flight is 6 seconds, then at 3 seconds the reaches its maximum height. Also, there is no given initial velocity, which means any useful calculation is impossible.

Applying Inverse Properties In Exercise, apply the inverse properties of logarithmic and exponential functions to simplify the ex
Mazyrski [523]

Answer:

x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

apply the inverse properties of logarithmic and exponential functions to simplify

ln(e^{x^2})

all logs has base 'e'

Inverse property of log says that

ln(e^x)=x, the value of ln e=1

we apply this property in our problem. ln has same base 'e' .  ln and 'e' gets cancelled

ln(e^{x^2})

x^2
