I feel like the last one. I think that being spiritual means you believe and have faith but don't follow the religions strictly. Meaning, Being Religous and right can cause political thinking because maybe religion talks about politics and since he is religious and right he will follow the politics that his/her religion teach. A black protestant may also be political because of the protestant reformation in Europe. Ther was a whole war/conflict between Catholics and protestants. It also influenced who would be a king or queen. It ruled politics.

Why was Washington against the formation of political parties and participation in political parties?
Advocard [28]

George Washington was against the formation of and participation in political parties because he truly believed in Unity.

From his perspective Unity, and not Division, was the key for a democratic republic to survive. He really thought that political parties would have negative effects because they would divide and destroy the United States.

And that's the main reason why throughout his political life until his death, he was sure political parties were not needed because the country could and should function without them.

Which group from North Carolina fought the colonial government in the mid-1700s because they were angry over high taxes?
EastWind [94]
The correct answer is the regulators. They were like a group of vigilantes who decided to close down public institutions and prevent the politicians from collecting taxes or the institutions from working properly because they believed that it all just works in favor of South Carolina's wealthy people.
