Why was the victory at Saratoga important to the Americans?
telo118 [61]

Answer:

The victory at Saratoga marked an important turning point in the Revolutionary War.

Explanation:

The victory by the Americans at Saratoga marked a turning point in the war, as it showed Britain that the Americans were a formidable enemy. British general John Burgoyne, leader of the invasion in New England, was forced to surrender with his men outnumbered 3 to 1 and surrounded by the American troops. The date of his surrender, October 18, 1777, was so important that it was declared a national holiday by Congress.

Who was Joseph Stalin?
ohaa [14]

Joseph Stalin was the former Prime Minister of the USSR

Joseph Stalin was from Georgia and his dad was a drunk. And Joseph Stalin was often beat by his father.

'Stalin's regime forcibly purged society of what it saw as threats to itself and its brand of communism, which included political dissidents, non-Soviet nationalists, the bourgeoisie, better-off peasants, and those of the working class who demonstrated "counter-revolutionary" sympathies."

stalin was feared because he was a brutal dictator who had dissenters exiled or killed
