The answer is 23 and 1÷9

First you multiply 4 by 5 and wind up with 20
Then you multiply four by 7÷9.
That gets you 28÷9
You take out all the nines you can from 28, three in this case.
That gets you 27÷9 + 1÷9
Your total thing is 20+27÷9+1÷9
That equals 20+3+1÷9
That equals 23 and 1÷9

Solve the equation 5n+7=21
Simora [160]

Answer:

Hi there, I believe the answer to this equation is: 2.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Subtract 7 on both sides so

5n+7=21-7

you are left with 5n=14 you need to get n by itself so divide 5 on both sides.

5n/5 = 14/5

n=2.8

Hope this is correct :)

Have a great day

The diagonals of a rhombus are 12 in. and 16 in. long. The length of a side of the rhombus is 10 in. What is the height of the r
iris [78.8K]
If d₁ and d₂ are the lengths of the diagonals, the area is given by
.. A = (1/2)*d₁*d₂
.. A = (1/2)*(12 in)*(16 in)
.. A = 96 in²

If b is the base and h is the height, the area is given by
.. A = b*h
We know the values of A and b, so
.. 96 in² = (10 in)*h
.. (96 in²)/(10 in) = h = 9.6 in

The height is 9.6 in.

<em>*To solve for a specified variable, you need to isolate that variable onto one side.</em>

<h3>11.</h3>

Firstly, subtract 5r on both sides: 2p=q-5r

Lastly, divide both sides by 2 and <u>your answer will be p=\frac{1}{2}q-\frac{5}{2}r</u>

<h3>12.</h3>

First, subtract z on both sides of the equation: -10-z=xy

Next, divide both sides by y and <u>your answer will be \frac{-10-z}{y}=x</u>

<h3>13.</h3>

Firstly, multiply both sides by b: a=cb

Next, divide both sides by c and <u>your answer will be \frac{a}{c}=b</u>
