Answer:

It would be 12 feet wide.

Step-by-step explanation:

Dancing pools sells swimming pools in 4 sizes.

All the poos have lengths that is 4 times long of their width.

The small pool is 36 feet long and 9 feet wide = 9 × 4 = 36

The medium pool is 40 feet long and 10 feet wide = 10 × 4 = 40

The Large pool is 44 feet long and 11 feet wide = 11 × 4 = 44

As we can see all the pool has 4 times longer length from it's width.

If the new super duper coffee table pool is 48 feet long, it's width would be 1/4 of its length. = 48 × \frac{1}{4} = 12 feet

It would be 12 feet wide.

Fed [463]
Each digit of each amount is written in expanded form depending on the position of the digit.

Let's see number 4.875.

Digit 4 is in the place of the units so it is 4 * 1

8 is in the place of the tenths, so it is 8/10 = 8 * 1/10

7 is in the place of the hundreths, so it is 7/100 = 7 * 1 /100

5 is in the place of the thousanths, so it is 5/1000 = 5 * 1 / 1000

So, the number 4.875 written in expanded form using fractions is:

4*1 + 8 * 1/10 + 7 * 1/100 + 5 * 1/100.

Now, see the next amount, 3.125, which using the same procedure leads to:

3 *1 + 1 * 1/10 + 2 * 1/100 + 5 * 1/ 1000
