To find the answer all you do is switch the percentage to a decimal and multiply by the number you were given. For example on 1a, 19% as a decimal is 0.19 and 0.19 * 360 is 68.4. All of 1 and 2 questions work this way. For number three, take the fraction and convert it to a decimal (so 1/2 will be 0.5, 1/3 will be 0.33, etc) and add that to the whole number. For example, 3a would be 33.33%. 3b would be 12.5%.

Hope this helps!

11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

22.459 pounds of wood

Step-by-step explanation:

Total amount of wood in store = amount of pine wood purchased + amount of cedar in the store

Total amount of wood in store = 13.145 pine wood + 16.903 cedar wood

Total amount of wood in store = 30.048 pounds of wood

If acme lumber had sold 7.589 pounds of lumber after 6 months, the amount of pounds of woods that the company have left to sell = Total amount in store initially - amount sold after 6 months

Amount of pounds of woods that the company have left to sell  = 30.048 - 7.589

The amount of pounds of woods that the company have left to sell  = 22.459 pounds of wood

If 100 treats will feed 15 dogs (each dog is given the same number of treats), how many dogs can be fed with 40 treats?
Lisa [10]

Answer: 6 dogs

Step-by-step explanation:

If 100 treats will feed 15 dogs, then that means that the number of treats that each dog requires is:

= 100/15

= 6.67 treats

If 6.67 treats will feed one dog then the number of dogs that will be fed by 40 is:

= 40 / 6.67

= 6 dogs
