Most of the time when you swallow gum it goes straight through your digestive system and come out with no problem.

Your body can<span>'t digest gum. It takes a long amount of time to move through your intestines and finally be combined in waste. If you ingest a lot of gum, it may lead to blocked intestines and constipation.
