Answer:

Prognosis. (Prediction by the medic about the disease).

Explanation:

It is a prediction, an hypothesis of how the disease will affect the patient during the time. Pro is referred as the previous and gnosis means knowledge so it is a prior knowledge, although not 100% sure.

Brad and Angie fell in love one summer when Brad used to bring his golden retriever to play in the park where Angie liked to jog
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

The Proust effect.

Explanation:

This is a type of medical explanation for the very strong recollection of memory after being triggered by sensory simulators. The fact that Brad and Angie fell in love created memories within her mind. The one thing that linked Angie to Brads thoughts was his golden retriever, there are strong emotional bonds with the sight, smell and touch.

Seeing the labrador retriever re-triggered those memories and therefore making the Proust effect come into play.

Describe in a brief paragraph one of the seven major religions in the world and how it can exist in our United States culture. I
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

Hinduism is one of the most ancient religions in the world. The religion is enriched with the best possible spiritual facets and reflects the ideal ways to live this very life.

Hinduism has spread fascinating and crucial aspects like four "Vedas" (Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda, Atharv Veda), four ashrams/ stages of life (Brahmacharyashram, Grihastashram, Vanprathashram and Sanysashram which mean studenthood, family/ social life, retirement and getting detached from the materialistic life).

In the United States, numerous people work in the Software industry who are from India and on other hand, organizations like Ramkrishna Math, Akshardham and ISKON have cultivated human beings for holistic development.

The principle of "Adwaita" (Oneness) is the backbone of Hinduism which can be found being practiced by a good number of Americans. Yoga, meditation, and Namasmaran (chanting) are other ways that have their roots in Hinduism and have blossomed the life of the native Americans too.

Secularisation of religion is fine until it does not alter and violate the essence and identity of a specific religion. But if the secularisation attempt disturbs the rhythm of religion, it should be avoided.
