Answer:

X + 4 units

4 x 4 = 16 units

112 - 16 units = 96 units divided by four (number of sides of garden) =

 24. X = 24

However to check

24 + 4= 28

            x 4

            ___

            112 So X=24

A trough is 14 ft long and its ends have the shape of isosceles triangles that are 5 ft across at the top and have a height of 1
jeka57 [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

Using similar triangles, the height and width of the water is proportional to the height and width of the trough.

w / h = 5 / 1

w = 5h

The volume of the water is:

V = AL

V = (½ wh) (14)

V = 7wh

Substituting:

V = 7(5h)h

V = 35h²

Take derivative with respect to time:

dV/dt = 70h dh/dt

Given that dV/dt = 15 and h = ⅓:

15 = 70 (⅓) dh/dt

dh/dt = 9/14

dh/dt ≈ 0.643 ft/min

22. Draw Conclusions lf two angles are complementary, each angle is called
stiks02 [169]
A. A complementary angle is an angle that, with another angle, adds up to 360°. If m∡A = 77°, its complementary angle must be 283° because 360-77=283.

b. If two different angles are complementary to the same angle, they must have the same measure, because only one number can add with the one number to get the same answer.

Hope this helps!

The width of a rectangle is 6 in. less than its length. The perimeter is 68 in. What is the width of the rectangle?
stepan [7]
Length= y in.
Width= (y-6) in.
Perimeter = 2(L*W)
Perimeter=2L+2W
68in.=2(y)+2(y-6)
68=2y+2y-12
68=4y-12
68+12=4y
4y=80
y=20
Length= 20 inches, width =14 inches

The growing interest in and use of the Internet have forced many companies into considering ways to sell their products on the W
Romashka [77]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the data:

Education : 11 11 8 13 17 11 11 11 19 13 15 9 15 15 11

Internet use 10 5 0 14 24 0 15 12 20 10 5 8 12 15 0

Labeled scatter plot of Education and Internet Use is attached in the picture below.

Yes there appears to be a linear relationship between the two variables (Education and Internet Use) as the data points appears to have an upward trend depicted by the linear trend line in the graph.

The correlation Coefficient value which is measures the degree of linear relationship between education and internet use is 0.7048
