Answer:

A ) The Time at which both will earn same amount is T = 6.25 hours        B ) The shorter length is 6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

A ) The amount earn by Marty = $24  per hour

The amount earn by Marissa = $100 weekly + $8 per hour

Let The number of hours they work to earn same amount = T hours

So, 24 T = 8 T + $100

Or,  24 T - 8 t = $100

Or, 16 T = $ 100

So, T = \frac{100}{16}

Or, T = \frac{25}{4}

∴   T = 6.25 hours

B ) Given expression as :

  y = x + 2

  2 x +  3y = 36

Now put the value of y from first to second eq :

So ,   2 x +  3×( x + 2 ) = 36

Or,     2 x +  3 x + 6 = 36

Or,      5 x = 30 - 6

Or,      5 x = 30

∴            x = \frac{30}{5} =  6

And    y = x + 2

So,     y = 6 +2 = 8

So, The shorter length is 6 cm

Hence The Time at which both will earn same amount is T = 6.25 hours  And      The shorter length is 6 cm     Answer

Find the area of the parallelogram. Round to the<br> nearest tenth.
muminat

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Note all arguments of trigonometric functions are in degrees.</em>

<em />

Since tan(35)=4/(longer dotted leg of the triangle), the length of this longer dotted leg is thus 4/tan(35).

Since A=bh, the area is (4/tan35)(12), and you can just plug this into a calculator.

Serena drove 40 km on 3 L of gasoline. Which of the following would be an equation to help you find out how far she can travel o
velikii [3]
So here is the solution to the given problem above.
Given that Serena drove 40km on 3L of gasoline, we can say that she drove 13.33 kilometers per liter of gasoline. Since we want to find out how far she travelled with a full tank of 50L, we will only multiply 13.33 by 50 and we get 666.67 kilometers. So the answer would be 666.67 kilometers for 50 L of gasoline. Hope this helps.
