how can u tell the difference between the helpful influence and one that might lead you to try risky behaviors?

Look at the way that they act. If they are into doing rebellious things, that could be bad. If they hang out with kids that you know aren't good kids, that could also be bad. If they ask you if you want some drugs or alcohol, that is DEFINITELY bad.

Probably gloves and a mask, because the most common transports of the flu, is people geting germs on their hands, which are carried to their mouth.  A mask would prevent bodily fluids on the hands from getting in the mouth, and gloves will prevent bodily fluids from adhering to the hands.
