B is the answer simply combine the numbers with like variables and exponents.
Ex:
(8x^{2} ) + ( - 4x^{2} ) = 4 {x}^{2}
These can be combined because they both have x to the 2nd power. X being a like varible and 2 being a like exponent.

Hope this helps.

3x-8<23 and -4x+26>6
Papessa [141]

Answer:

3x-8<23 and -4x+26>6

x<31/3            x<5

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-8<23

Add 8 to both sides

3x<31

Then divide 3 to both sides

x<31/3

and -4x+26>6

Minus 26 to both sides

-4x>-20

You divide -4 to both sides

Keep in mind that everytime you divide a negative the inequality will change so > will be <

x<5

The $130 fishing rod was first marked down 40 percent, and now it’s an additional 25 percent off. How much will it end up costin
ehidna [41]

Answer:$58.50

Step-by-step explanation:

The price was 130

With 40% off

Which reads out in this format

40/100*130= 52 dollars off the real price

130-52=78 dollars

Then later reduce by 25 percent

Now the price is 78 dollars

25/100*78= 19.5 dollar off the new price

So the real price will be

78-19.5=$58.5
